Our accommodation, your home...

Our present accommodation was built in 1995, when Trinity moved from its former home in The Newarke, just two hundred metres away from the current site.

The modern building has 23 self-contained modern flats on three floors, with a vertical lift for access to the upper floors

Each flat offers independent living and residents must be able to look after themselves and their flat, with appropriate support if necessary.

Each flat has a living/dining room, a kitchen, bathroom and a separate bedroom. There are no bedsitter flats. All flats have one bedroom except one flat, which has two bedrooms. In the main the flats are suitable for single people, but two of the flats are ideal for couples.

All bathrooms are equipped with walk-in showers, which are suitable for residents with physical disabilities.

Facilities available to residents include two Lounges, one of which is used mainly for functions, a Laundry with washing machines and dryers, a small Library and a separate bathroom if residents sometimes prefer a bath to a shower.

As stated above we encourage independence. We also support and encourage residents when they wish to organise internal social events or outings, which all residents may attend as they choose.

A Weekly Charge is payable by all residents. This includes all service charges plus Council Tax, water, gas and electricity. Residents may apply for Housing Benefit for some elements of the Charge if they are eligible.

Other amenities available include:
Secure off-street parking spaces for residents and their visitors.
Secure store for up to three mobility scooters.
Guest room for overnight stays while visiting relatives.
A small chapel offering a weekly service. All faiths are welcome.

If you are seeking accommodation yourself, or if you are looking on behalf of an elderly relative or friend, please feel free to contact our Residence & Residents Liaison Officer on 0116-2554829 to arrange an informal viewing of the accommodation.
In a scheme of this size and nature we have regular vacancies and normally only a short waiting list. So please make contact if you would like to see what we offer first-hand or if you wish to apply direct for accommodation.
